How impactful and important mentorship relationships can be. We also have Liz Jones our careers coordinator at Blue Star families and you can reach out to her. You have any questions about networks live by emailing her at careers at blue star for a couple of housekeeping items before.

We get started. You downloaded zoom for this webinar. You will not have to download. It again for any future webinar. That you attend with. It just makes. It a little easier and um in the upper left hand corner of your screen. You should see a bar. This is audio settings Q&A; chat and raise your hand for this webinar we're gonna compile. All the questions um. That you guys have and answer them at the end so. You want to just type. It in a Q&A; box and then. Either Liz er. I will read them at the end um and then tomorrow you'll also receive a short survey via email. You could take. It and let us know what you thought and what we can do to make.

It better we would super appreciate. That um without further ado Diana I'd like to turn. It over to you awesome thanks okay. Anything I have to do to share my screen or go to go to so great at the bottom. You should have a little green box. That says your screen got. It look sharing screen okay and it'll ask. You I think it'll ask. You to select your whole screen yes. It says hostess able to attendee screen sharing oh. I think she's working on it right now okay cool there. We go try to get quick okay. We are good yeah. This will work. Now okay so are.

You guys in able to see my screen oh yeah okay great so just I'll dive straight into. It really excited to be here today and share a little bit about our mentoring platform and the power of mentoring with. Everyone so thanks to Blue Star families for having us better Adi is that a proud partner who's to our families for quite a while. I think it's been over a year and a half so we're excited to share today. All right so before the internet.

We had truck. I just write. This concept of tribes and tribes are really. We survived. It was the strong social bonds knowledge sharing and taking care of. Each other and the crazy thing about like the digital age and the internet is it's made. Us more connected. Than ever but actually our connections with. Each other we weakened so we've gone from my neighbor having my kids over village I'm out on errands to kind of browsing what your neighbors are making for dinner on Facebook feeds and we've also gone from a village.

That comes together to help the tribe member down on luck find a job through collective networks in advice to like. One person sitting at a computer alone sending out hundreds of job applications hoping that one human being might respond on the other side so our tribal bonds are actually weaker. Than ever better Adi is activating one of history's most powerful tribes the US military and the 94% of Americans who support our military to solve.

What we see is one of the greatest crises of opportunities for our transitioning soldiers and also our military spouses today which is finding a job and when. We approach. This crisis. We really didn't think about it very traditionally. We thought about it in terms of you know 80% of jobs don't. Even come through job boards. They come through the people who believe in you so the big question. That we asked as a team was. We connect our veterans and military spouses to the people who believe in them and to the tribe.

That will mentor and sponsor and champion them to success after. They come home from the battlefield so. This is better Otte we're a digital mentoring platform. That empowers veterans and military spouses to book direct phone calls with members of the military very passionate tribe so our mentors our veterans our military spouses their military passionate civilians and also there are employers as well and recruiters and so through.

These conversations the mentors are able to level up transitioning talent into becoming very focused very confident in interview ready candidates ready to really land the jobs of your dreams so. I want to share a little couple stories about how a simple phone call can really change your life and Jeanne will also speak to this later as well. She has a lot of incredible stories around.
